Ordering & The Atelier Process
We do not operate like a traditional, fast-fashion retail store. We do not keep massive warehouses of pre-made stock waiting on shelves. Instead, we run a slow, intentional atelier. The moment your order is placed, our tailors select your chosen fabric color, lay out your specific dimensions onto structural paper patterns, and hand-cut the textile piece by piece. A dedicated artisan owns your garment from that first snip of the shears to the final quality inspection and steam press. This intentional process eliminates fashion waste and ensures that your piece is entirely unique and freshly made just for you.
Because everything is cut and sewn by hand under one roof, our standard tailoring window typically ranges from 7 to 14 business days before your package is dispatched. During high-season peaks or exclusive collection launches, this window may extend slightly. We update our website header regularly to reflect the exact workspace volume. We know waiting can be hard, but we promise that the feeling of slipping into a garment crafted intentionally for your body is entirely worth the wait.
Because we try to respect our tailors' workflows, our pattern cutting begins very quickly. You can request changes to your fabric color, sizing, or custom adjustments, or cancel your order entirely, within 24 hours of placement. To make a change, please email us immediately with your order number in the subject line. After 24 hours, the shears have met the fabric, and we are unable to alter or cancel the order as that specific textile has already been dedicated to you.
Yes, you can combine orders if your original order has not yet entered our sewing phase. Please place your new order normally through our website, and then send an immediate email to our team. We will manually merge your orders, ensure they are tailored in the same batch, and fully refund the secondary shipping fee back to your original payment method.
Sizing, Cuts & Bespoke Customization
Because our garments are designed with a naturally relaxed, breathable lifestyle in mind, our sizing may differ from rigid, mass-market high-street brands. We highly recommend checking the individual garment measurement chart listed in the description of every product page.
To find your match: grab a soft measuring tape and measure your body over light undergarments. Compare your measurements to the actual fabric dimensions of the garment. Keep the Golden Rule of Sizing in mind: your body should be smaller than the fabric dimensions to allow for comfortable movement (aim for 8–10 cm of ease around the bust for tops, and 6–8 cm of ease around the hips for trousers).
Single Sizing (XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL): These pieces are engineered to be "true-to-size." While they are still relaxed and comfortable, they offer structural definition around your shoulders, bust, and waist framework.
Combined Sizing (XS, S-M, L-XL): These pieces embrace our beautiful, fluid, oversized aesthetic. They are intentionally drafted to give a baggy, unconstrained, and highly casual drape. If you prefer a closer, more classic fit in these specific silhouettes, we recommend selecting one size down.
Because our production is fully custom-made to order, we are incredibly happy to adapt our foundational patterns to perfectly suit your height and proportions. We offer the following complimentary bespoke adjustments:
- Making a garment hemline longer or shorter (up to 10 cm / 4 inches)
- Making sleeves longer or shorter
- Deepening or raising a neckline block
- Shifting the structural placement of the waist seam up or down
To request these, simply leave your exact measurements and specific instructions in the "Special Instructions for the Tailor" note box during your checkout process.
Yes. Because our garments are assembled according to strict architectural sewing patterns designed to sit balanced on the body, we cannot alter the core silhouette of a piece. For example, we cannot turn a wide-leg trouser into a skinny pant, add sleeves to a sleeveless dress design, or change a button-down shirt into a pullover. Furthermore, please note that customized garments are entirely final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, as they have been built exclusively for your unique proportions.
Material Secrets — Our Linen & Silk
We are fiercely committed to eco-conscious, ethical sourcing. Our linen is woven from 100% premium European flax, certified to ensure it is entirely free from harmful chemical substances and manufactured under strict fair-labor conditions. Our silk is premium, sustainably harvested mulberry silk. Both materials are entirely natural, biodegradable, and live fibers that breathe effortlessly with your skin.
Not at all. If you have only experienced cheap, mass-manufactured linen blends, you will be amazed by our textiles. We pre-wash and gently soften all of our linen fabric right at our atelier before it is ever cut. It arrives at your door beautifully supple, textured, and soft to the touch, and it will continue to become smoother and more luxurious with every single wash cycle.
We utilize a luxurious, mid-to-heavyweight linen weave (around 160–200 gsm) that naturally provides excellent structural opacity. Our dark and rich earth-toned fabrics (like charcoal, navy, terracotta, and olive) are 100% opaque and require no slip whatsoever. Our lightest shades, such as optic white and soft cream, naturally interact with bright sunlight — we simply recommend wearing skin-toned underwear beneath them for a perfectly seamless look.
Wrinkling isn't a defect — it is the ultimate sign of authentic, premium, pure linen. Because flax fibers are naturally strong, robust, and completely devoid of synthetic elastic elements, they create soft, airy folds as you sit, move, and live your life. We embrace these natural crinkles as an elegant signature of conscious, slow living. If you prefer a crisper look, you can easily release the wrinkles by using a clothing garment steamer, or by pressing the item inside-out with a warm iron while the fabric is still slightly damp.
We select premium, sand-washed or raw matte mulberry silks. Unlike cheap, glossy synthetic polyester silks that feel hot and have a harsh metallic shine, our authentic silk features a muted, velvety, and sophisticated low-luster finish. It feels like a cool, weightless whisper against your skin, making it highly breathable for hot weather and incredibly comforting for sensitive skin.
Garment Care & Longevity
Linen is remarkably resilient and washes beautifully in a standard domestic machine:
- Turn your garment inside out to protect the surface fibers
- Machine wash on a gentle, low-spin cycle using cool or lukewarm water (maximum 30°C / 85°F)
- Always use a mild, liquid detergent. Avoid powder detergents, bleach, or harsh optical chemical brighteners, which can strip natural dyes and weaken flax strength over time
Because silk is a delicate, organic protein fiber, it thrives on extra love and gentle handling. We highly recommend hand-washing your silk pieces in a clean basin filled with cool water and a few drops of a dedicated silk/wool gentle liquid wash. Submerge the piece, gently swirl it for two minutes (do not scrub or wring out harshly), rinse thoroughly with fresh cold water, and lay it flat on a clean towel to dry. Alternatively, you may use a professional eco-friendly dry-cleaning service.
We strongly advise against using commercial fabric softeners. Softeners work by coating fabric strands in a thin, slick chemical film. This film clogs the natural pores of linen and silk, stripping away their moisture-wicking properties and legendary breathability. Trust the natural process: high-quality flax naturally breaks in and softens completely on its own over time through normal wear and washing.
Because we pre-wash our textiles at high temperatures before our tailors draft the patterns, our garments are structurally stable and protected against sudden shrinkage surprises. However, because they are 100% natural, chemical-free fibers, a tiny amount of natural contraction (around 1–2%) can happen if they are exposed to accidental heat. To prevent this, always wash in cool water and never put your linen or silk into a hot mechanical tumble dryer.
Shipping, Tracking & Duties
All orders are hand-packaged and shipped directly from our sewing studio in Vietnam. We ship worldwide to almost every country via premium, trusted international express courier networks (such as DHL Express and FedEx) to ensure your handmade package arrives safely and fast.
We calculate your shipping tariff directly at checkout based on the total weight of your custom garments and your specific destination country. We offer highly competitive, discounted express courier rates. We also provide complimentary free express shipping worldwide on all orders above a certain threshold (detailed clearly in our website banner).
The moment your dedicated tailor completes your garment, it passes through our final quality check and packaging desk. As soon as your shipping label is generated, an automated email containing your tracking link and carrier details will fly straight to your inbox, allowing you to monitor its progress from our studio door to your porch.
Because we ship directly from our production atelier in Vietnam, your package may be subject to local import duties, customs taxes, or clearance fees upon arrival, depending entirely on your country's federal border regulations.
For US Customers: Orders below $800 USD are entirely exempt from import taxes.
For International Customers (EU, UK, Canada, Australia, etc.): Any applicable custom clearances, VAT, or local tax duties are the sole legal responsibility of the customer and are collected directly by the courier network during delivery. We recommend checking your local customs threshold limits to avoid surprise fees.
Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
We want you to absolutely love your handmade wardrobe. If your item is non-customized and remains in its original, pristine condition (unwashed, unworn, unaltered, and with all artisan clothing tags securely attached), you can submit a return request within 14 days of your package delivery date.
To initiate a return or exchange, please email us with your order number and the reason for your return. Our team will review your request and send you our direct studio return shipping address. Please note that return shipping costs are paid entirely by the customer, and we highly recommend using a tracked shipping method, as we cannot issue refunds for packages lost in transit on their way back to our workshop.
No. Any item that has been customized at your request — such as changing lengths, deepening necklines, shifting waist seams, or pieces built outside our standard size charts — is completely ineligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds. These garments are completely one-of-a-kind architectural shapes made exclusively for your individual body blueprint and cannot be resold.
Once your return package arrives back at our studio, our quality team inspects the garment to ensure it is in unworn, original condition. This review process takes roughly 3 to 5 business days. Once approved, your refund will be processed immediately, and the funds will automatically return to your original payment method. Depending on your financial institution, it can take an additional 5 to 10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.
